I cancelled a booking for a hotel and a refund was made but it was made to a card that was cancelled because it had been hacked. Travelocity will not issue a refund to my current credit card and I am getting the run around. My bank became involved because Travelocity said my bank should be able to get the funds with the receipt number. They couldn't. I made two different reservations one for a hotel all inclusive and one for the flights, 7202938490820 and 7202940929593 and called on 08/09/2016 to let them know that amount went down a hundred dollars a day. They wanted to put me through the ringer, sitting on the phone for hours at a time with nonsense people who did not speak English fluently. I asked them to slow down because I could not hear them. My partner and I were traveling from Newark to Rome. My partner had a business trip to take and would meet me in Rome on his concluding trip. Upon checking in at Newark I explained when asked if Robert Stevens would be checking in also. We were instructed to select plane seats when booking ("only 2 spots left, so book soon") but only upgrade seats were available, so we were forced to pay extra fee to book and continue with reservation, including hotel. Later told that we should have NOT selected seats and waited until at gate for no up charge. They will not refund difference, and say they cant refund $, so I am forced to pay extra fees, because they did not explain this caveat... Read more

I am very unsatisfied with the service here. I travel often and have purchased numerous tickets through Travelocity with no problems ever. This time, I purchased 3 tickets for myself and my 2 children. My children had to leave early and drive with my brother to Washington DC due to their grandmother's sudden death. booked a hotel reservation itinerary # 7199595209529 on Mon 7/25 for 8/11-8/13 at a price of $86.00. I realized after I printed the confirmation that there was an error and it only booked for one night. I called the hotel and they told me I need to contact travelocity to make a change. The company needs to be sued. They are cheating people and need to be sued. They are stealing hundreds of dollars from each and every customer. File a complaint with the Attorney General of your state. Don't let them win. One by one we can not probably get them but as a collective we can make a difference. Be persistent. I paid for trip protection with Travelocity when booking a flight to join my husband on a business trip. His business schedule changed and he had no issues canceling hotel and our return flight with Expedia. I on the other hand lost all my money because the trip protection only covers canceled trips due to death or illness (which has to be certified by a physician) after being submitted as a claim to a third party insurance company. We booked a all exclusive trip to Puerto Vallartas. We were suppsed to have all inclusive and ocean view. The Garza Blanca Preserve Resort, where were staying, told me a few days before the trip the room is not ocean view and we do not have all inclusive.
