Travelocity ignored my message. They didn't even take the time to open it.

So using travelocity I finally found a really nice, big and affordable SUV to fit my family. The price came up to 266.00$ I read through everything I was very careful reading everything because my mother in law warned me that some people put holds on your card and I don't have the money for that. I thought this was perfect I set it up I gave them my information and they took 202.00$ now and said 64.00$ at the checkout counter when I pick up the vehicle. After I booked it online I called to make sure everything went through and the first lady I spoke with said she was having trouble finding my reservation and transferred me to someone else.
The next person said yes we accepted the money but now before you can get the car we need a 500.00$ deposit. Now this is very important for me to get to my grandpas funeral I'm out 202.00$ and no car . The guy I spoke with even said he seen that it said nowhere about a deposit or hidden fees or anything. So it hasn't even been an hour I had to cancel it and get my money back .
I sat on the phone for over 30 mins and was finally told all of my money would be returned after the 42 hours it takes to go through the system and then 7-10 business days .At this point I'm in tears and need my money because it's only 2 days until I need to be on the road . I'm asking to please push it through there has to be something someone can do. They said they will try but can't promise . So the next day I get 150.00$ back on my card thank God but where's my other 50.00$.
I get back on costumer service and speak with someone named Helen who is very rude and she says if you read your receipt properly you would see the deposit and the cancellation fee which I have my receipt and it says none of that and neither did the man I spoke with yesterday. So I didn't get my money back in time I still haven't gotten it yet and now I've missed my grandpa's funeral. Something I'll never be able to make up for .
Me and my family are so upset . I thought travelocity was a trusted website I could go through .but instead I got screwed and lost my last chance to see my grandpa before he was buried forever.

I went on Trivago to reserve a car for the weekend. A car rental company called NU Car Rentals price per day was so inexpensive that I of course immediately reserved my vehicle for the weekend.
It does say there are no refunds for cancellation however I was going that same day to pick up the car and new there was no way that I would want to cancel this. I also had to pay in full on website before I went to pick it up but I received my confirmation and itinerary number and went with my partner in an Uber. When we got there, $20 later we walked into their office and was immediately greeted by a man at his desk and asked if I had a valid driver's license. I said of course her and I have the itinerary the confirmation number and my insurance card.
I handed all of that to him at which time he said, oh no, you cannot rent this car from us because we do not accept Florida driver's licenses. By the way I live in Orlando Florida. The biggest scam there will ever has been because at that time there was nothing he was going to do and we had to turn around and $20 later and another Uber we were back home and our weekend completely ruined. It is now a week later and every single day up until today I have been on the phone with Trivago, one Filipino after another each one telling me that they have nothing to do with this and that I need to get my money back from the company that ripped me off on their website.
I finally got them to refund my money but not before it cost me $280 in non cancellation fees at the hotel that we were supposed to stay and more grief than I couldn't wish on my worst enemy.
Trivago has the absolute worst people representing them and thier "go to" phrase is... Would you like to book a new reservation?
Never once did anyone from Trivago offer an alternative for me unless I would be stupid enough to use them again. I still have not even received the $231 NU owes
