ALWAYS use a credit card when dealing with Travelocity! You have 60 days to file a dispute claim with your credit card company. The minute you have an issue file a claim with your credit card company!! They love to use up that 60 days with "could you send the...

We just used Travelocity to book a flight home for Christmas. We were falsely charged at least six times for a total excess of $1,690. We first used a debit card and then at their request switched to a credit card. They claimed our debit card wasn't working - but...

guess that proves never use a debit card on line.

We have had much cooperation with Citicard dealing with on line merchants where we could not obtain credit for bogus charges. Citicard took care of us

Travelocity - Change of flight-no update sent to me

I am very unhappy with your company. Did not receive an update on the change of flight. Had to sit in airport 4 hours (with my elderly parents) because flight was changed without my knowledge. I think you should have a confirmation from the customer that they received your email update. Once you get to the airport, there is nothing that can be done to change flights. You have to take what ever flight they put you on to get home. Should have figured something was not right when we first got to the airport. I think something should be done, or I should be compensated for the inconveinence.

It seems like this greedy pig just wants the compensation. Flights sometimes gets changed at the last minute and they can't inform you kiddo.

Now quit being a baby and learn that *** happens. If you can't take everyday annoyances than stay at home. However I think getting compensation it the main reason you wrote this letter. I am also understand here.

I understand a little kid yourself can be bored sitting in one spot for four hours. Believe it or not I was six years old at one point.

Travelocity is a nightmare - dont use it, it's not worth it

my husband and i bought 2 international tickets from travelocity on march 2008 for our trip in december 2008. its november now and since we bought the tickets we received 5 emails from them changing our flight schedules. we are supposed to leave in 3 weeks so i called travelocity to re confirm our itenerary, only to find out that this time, me and my husband are on different flights and different dates. i tried to explain myself to the agent, who hardly understands english, that it cant be cuz we purchased it together. anyway, he gave me what i wanted over the phone and emailed me a totally different itenerary. so i called back again, after spending 3 hours with the agent on the phone, he said that he already talked to the airline and they will change our flight schedule, but since the la office is closed i would have to call back the next day to confirm and issue ticket. the agent said he noted down everything so i need not have to explain myself when i call the next day. he assured me that the agent will know when i call and it'll be quick and easy. so i call the next day, and spent 2 hours again on the phone because i had to explain everything again to the agent. she then said that everything is now ok and that i will receive a call from them within 42 hours and an email. after 72 hours of nothing, i called them again and explained myself again... it was a cycle up to now my flight is not fixed. so please spare yourself, dont use travelocity. it is not worth it!

I have been paying my yearly fee in order to some day use all my reward points. Well, I guess I don't have it as bad as other notes I've been reading about travelocity because it sounds like they have been getting ripped off from a whole lot more money.

My problem is simple, they can't,won't,let me use my points. what a rip off. I can't wait to get rid of the card and warn people about them.

STAY away. Oh this is about 500.00 worth of points.

During a road trip to Colorado this last August, our car broke down. I called Travelocity and the hotel that was booked the following night to cancel our reservation. I was told by Travelocity the amount paid would be refunded in full. Nearly 3 months, 10 phone calls,...

I booked a flight and then needed a refund. I emailed the company 4 times with no response.

I then called and was told I would be offered a refund minus 45 pounds travelocity fee and 200 dollars airlines fee, meaning $1000 refund. Confirmation of this was emailed to me. Then I got an email stating only "PLEASE IGORE FIRST EMAIL WHICH I SENT TO YOU AS I GAVE YOU INCORRECT INFORMATION THAT YOU WILLL GET REFUND AS YOU WILL NOT GET ANY REFUND."

In all caps! Are these people serious?

Please IGORE first email? What does that even mean? WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST.

I Had an excellant experience cancelling a flight with Ebookers.. immediate online response, discount on fee because I cancelled the same day and the refund was processed within 5 days!

Travelocity - No room at the Holiday Inn

We have used Travelocity on many occasions to book our trips. Never again! We made a reservation several months ago for a Holiday Inn in our daughter's town for her college Homecoming weekend. Well, we visited the town for her college's Parent's Day weekend and--THE HOTEL WASN'T FINISHED BEING BUILT YET (!!), and won't be for another few months--well after the Homecoming weekend..... A lot of good our "confirmation number" will do us. So basically we're screwed--everything within a 40 mile radius is booked, booked, booked. And try and call Travelocity's so-called customer service line--First you get some guy, who calls him self "Justin" but sounds like he is from Calcutta. Well, "Justin" made a few phone calls and he was going to get back to us within 24-48 hours. 5 days later we still await the phone call.... Funny thing is--if we cancelled our reservations on short notice, they clearly state our credit card could be billed. We are stuck without a room on short notice, and we get nada, zip, zilch. Thanks for nothing, Travelocity.

Travelocity Sucks

So I tried to book a flight on travelocity. It said It had trouble processing my credit card. I checked online my funds were sufficient. I also called up my bank and my funds were sufficient. My bank ensured me it was nothing on their end. But they noticed travelocity charged my account 4 times for a $7 dollar fee, which should only be charged once. So I decide to call Travelocity. They said it would be another $25 dollar charge to book the trip over the phone. I will never use travelocity again. They are just terrible. Travelocity Sucks. Travelocity Booking Sucks. Travelocity is terrible.

Reserved a hotel through Travelocity 4 months in advance and few days after reservation, found out the hotel was too far from the event and airport, so we tried to cancell reservation (still 4 monnths in advanced), but would soon find out the fee would exceed $400+. Travelocity is a ripoff and should be brought to justice for fruad. This company has to be the BIGGEST SCAM known.

Thank You Travelocity, just returned from Arizona and everything was just great aand went off without a hitch. Of course I booked everything myself, my last trip to Mexico which you did was totally screwed up and you did squat to fix it.

I did not use your site to explore my trip since everytime someone looks at it, it counts as a hit and you use for advertisers to get income. So to all readers use any other site to info and book yourself. This trip was great since I actually spoke to someone prior to book who was in the United States and knew where Sedona was.

Instead of someone named BILL who was sitting in room in Calcutta. With this lousy economy I hope travelocity joins the ranks of going out of business, it only put people from India out of work and get rid of a bad business.

Travelocity Terrible Customer Service

I tried canceling a reservation and ran into problems using the travelocity web site - my trip id was not showing up. So I tried calling and I was on hold for almost an hour. I couldn't stay on hold so I had to call back the next day. When I finally got through, I was told that I called less than 24 hours prior to my reservation so they can't cancel. When I told them that it was Travelocity's fault, they told me they couldn't do anything because it was the hotel's policy not to refund. Terrible customer service. Never again. Stay away.
