Travelocity - Shady prices and horrible customer service
I went to book a flight and the initial price was 188.48. I then selected the return flight of an additional 21.58.
When I got to the total screen the flight price was 434.32. I called customer service to get the quoted price, but she could not help me and said it was a technical error. While on the phone she contacted the tech department, who changed the prices. The representative offered me a "great deal" on another flight that totaled 460.00.
I'm not sure how that is a great deal so after arguing with the representative she stated she would get a supervisor.
While waiting for the supervisor, the website went BACK to the inital price of 188.48. When I told the supervisor, he stated he couldnt do anything that air prices change by the second, which we all know is false.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $1300.
Preferred solution: I want the quoted price.

Had the same problem. I don't have time to play our new national pastime - the "Customer Service Game." But Travelocity is pulling some *** here, and it's not right.
