Travelocity is not a booking agent, just so you know. Just because you click a link to book something through their site does not mean they are the responsible party. It takes you to a 3rd party site, and tells you this up front.

Unless you choose seats with the airline and pay the fee, you get what they give.

Travelocity - Real Bad Customer Service

I booked a flight last year and my husband got sick and could not make the trip when I got back I called them and told them. They explained to me that they will issue a credit for the flight. Fast forward to today I am trying to use my husband credit to book hi a flight, first I got a rude lady on the phone who told me that she would help me book my flight, she left me on hold for 35 minutes and never came back, I called back and got someone different who starts of by telling me in order to use my credit I will have to pay $200, to the airline. I explained to her I have called several times and I even paid for the protection plan and I was told that I can use y credit at anytime before July. Now am getting the run around and being placed on hold from one rep to the next. I believe this is a *** away for them to make money and not provided exactly what they say they are going to do. $430 down the drain because I cannot book a different flight. Travelocity should be a shame of themselves and the service they provide.

Fraudulent use of credit card by travelocity.

Travelocity charged my credit card an extra $439. For a ticket on Delta airlines and they will not refund.i have called many times to reports incident nod they keep me on hold for hours and say that they are transferring me to a supervisor but the transfer never happens. I called Delta airlines and they are not able to do anything to help from their end. A problem similar to this was reported to a news channel in San Francisco, watch it on you tube. Apparently travelocity does not do good business. Deal with Travelocity at your own risk. Beware. This is not a hoax.

Travelocity costumer service is horrible!!!!!

We booked a trip to Cancun with Travelocity/Dynamic Airlines for a trip on June 2016. The Airline changed our outbound and inbound flights to very early and very late times - for example on our departure date the Airline changed our flight to 10:30 pm which meant we would have to stay in the airport waiting for the flight from hotel check out time 11 am till 10:30 pm, with an estimated arrival in NYC at 3 am! This unexpected change was unacceptable. I contacted Travelocity for a solution and after 1 hour and 36 minutes on the phone, Travelocity/Dynamic offered to change my flight to an earlier day - so I would loose 1 prepaid hotel night - then I was told that my only option was to cancel my trip which would be fully refunded (we bought travel insurance). I contacted the other passengers to confirm that we would have to cancel and that was my mistake - I lost the call and I had to call Travelocity again and even with reference numbers they took 1 hour to locate my reservation and start processing the cancellation of the itineraries - they were supposed to send email confirmations for 3 itineraries for a total of 6 passengers - we only got an email confirmation for 1 itinerary and 2 passengers . Called Travelocity again and another 1 hour on the phone and confirmed cancellation and full refund for the other 2 itineraries - waited overnight and no e-mail confirmation. Once again, I called Travelocity just to request an email confirmation it took them 1 hour and 18 minutes. Total time on the phone with Travelocity customer service: 5 hours. Calling Travelocity with reference numbers from previous calls is pointless. Every call is an endless explanation of every detail and customers are transferred to supervisors and then to manager - and again I had to explain all the details . I wonder if Travelocity knows that not only they waisted 5 hours of customer time for a simple notification of cancellation - they are also paying 5 hours of employee time for lack of better service.

Travelocity - Cancelled flight through Spirit

Back on Dec. 22, 2015 I purchased 4 tickets for my family & myself for my sisters wedding in Fort Lauderdale. I received a confirmation # from Spirit & copied all my information down & forgot about it. When I tried to check in on the 3rd of May for our flight on the 4th I was unable. I tried calling Spirit to find out the problem. After 1 1/2 hours I was told the reservation was cancelled because Travelocity never forwarded them the funds. I was charged $584 on my VISA and the bill was paid back in Dec. You can imagine my panic when Spirit would not give me any help at all.( I have also filed a complaint with Spirit). I called Travelocity and they contacted Spirit to no avail. After another 1 1/2 hours on the phone with Travelocity we were able to find the reservation. With all this time & agony spent, Spirit had no seats available for a free charge so I had to pay $80 for seats both ways. Spirit did nothing to help in reinbursement of the $80 nor did they offer any compensation yet.(??) After returning home I called Travelocity & explained I wanted them to take responsibility for the $80 I had to pay. They were very reluctant but after 45min. & a conversation with a supervisor, I was given a credit for the $80. Possibly you have a contact to Spirit that has some power to compensate me for all my agony & stress. Travelocity let me down & Spirit even more so. This should not happen to anyone and I want the people at Travelocity to know how poorly they messed up.

WARNING: BOOKING WITH TRAVELOCITY CAN MAKE YOU A FELONY SUSPECT! Yes, it happened to me. Travelocity booked and confirmed my itinerary, but due to a software defect it was billed to some random other credit card. When I noticed it, I tried to call customer service and say "you got the wrong credit card here. Give them their money back and here, take my credit card number and charge it for this itinerary." This would have been a reasonable and easy solution. But noooooo! They insisted that there was no defect and that there would not be any refund ever to anyone! Ever! They accused me of entering the other credit card (how in the world would I know their number, name, address, expiration, security code? Only Travelocity has all that info. I got them to cancel the itinerary, but the poor sucker out there is out hundreds of dollars, and this unauthorized use of credit card is associated with my itinerary! I will be No. 1 suspect in a felony! Today I went to see my lawyer to head off what might happen. Travelocity has defective software and is negligent, reckless, unreasonable, and abusive! Truly bizarre!

Travelocity - Mistake

i tried to book a flight from orlando to atlantic city on spirit airlines on may 1 2016.instead the confirmation i received had me going from atlantic city to orlando. i wish to cancel this flight. i have travel protection. to reach me by phone call 772299 1517. James Conroy I dont know how this mistake happened,but i certainly dont want that itinerary since i am in florida now and hoping to return to New Jersey on May 1st not the other way around.I would phone you abou this but i have no long distance service on my landline and my cell phone is not working at the moment

I agree completely. TRAVELOCITY IS CRIMINAL and also enables criminal "Hotel owners" to rip-off travelers by keeping 1 nights booking,( or more), even if the hotels conditions are completely unacceptable.

Travelocity - Over and hour just to change flights?????

This was the worst experience with a travel website I have ever had. I make reservations and change reservations often for the company I work for. Usually I use www.priceline.com. They are fantastic, You can change a flight online no problem without talking to anyone and it only take about 10 minutes. I was on the phone for well over an hour while the customer service rep put me on hold over and over again. Finally I was transferred to a supervisor?!?! Really... to change a flight I need to talk to a supervisor?? So which he proceeded to put me on hold again after taking the same information the first representative did. I actually had so much hold time on the call that I am currently still on hold with the supervisor and writing this review. The call time is currently at 1 hour 25 minutes and 57 seconds just to change a flight. No good travelocity/expedia no good. i will never use your site again for anything be it personal or business related.
