Travelocity - Worst booking experience of my life

I booked an international flight with Delta, KLM, and Kenya airways. I then proceeded to get notices regularly about segments of my flight being canceled. Despite sitting on hold for hours with Travelocity and being assured that all was well, a couple days before my flight several of the segments again appeared as canceled. Finally, I called Delta and was told those segements had never been issued! I was able to get Delta to fix the problem, but must have spent at least 4 hours on hold over the course of the month. Had I not double checked my flight into in the Delta platform, I would not have known I had no flights until I showed up at the airport. Save yourself the headache and book with a real travel company!

Customer service is very hard to work with, they have excuses for everything, If you don’t expect much, you won’t be disappointed,, I would not recommend Travilocity to anyone!! Not trying to make your experience harder but this was your mistake. If you messed up and did not read the terms and conditions you should take some responsibility.

You should have also read their policy as far as cancellations go they may have a no refund period policy.

When you called them it was a gamble of 50 50 they would give you a full refund and they did give you half of one which was nice of them considering they didn't owe you anything due to it being your mistake. I'd be happy with what I got an not complain about a mistake I made.

We booked American Airlines and British Airways return thru Travelocity . BA itinerary was cancelled/disappeared. AA took care of us and brought us home. Travelocity says flight cancelled. She lied. I told her it was on the board Ontime. Grab and BA. are all pointing fingers at each other. BA SAYS TRAVELOCITY CANCELLED US ON 9/22 our flight date. I will never buy my airline tickets from Travelocity.

I purchased flight tickets through Travelocity to Nicaragua. The itinerary ticket had the wrong return date. My husband was supposed to fly back Thursday 06/28, in fact the return flight was Wednesday 6/27. I had purchased flight insurance so no problem right. No one will take responsibility for the mistakes costing almost $1000 extra to fly my husband back so that he can restart work.

Travelocity - Promises Not Kept

I had plans to go to Berlin from Chicago over the holidays. With the Air Belin Bankruptcy the Chicago to Berlin long haul routes were canceled. Air Berlin was giving refunds. I called Travelocity to request the refunds. Day 1: Two hours on the phone and the woman finally got the OK from Air Berlin to give the refund. All well and good until I got the note from Travelocity that the refund would be $0.00!! I called the next day and spent over 6 hours on the phone. By the end of the call the fellow had good news. I have a "guaranteed refund" he said and even wrote an email to that affect. Great, right? The next day I got a note from Travelocity that said that I'd get no refund through them but that I needed to call the airline directly!!!!! 8 hours on the phone with them finally getting the waiver code from Air Berlin, and then they do this?!?! The ironic part is that Travelocity already credited to me my travel insurance fee because they said it wouldn't be necessary because there were no flights. As with others, I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!! NEVER EVER!!! What a miserable company to deal with. WOW!!

Travelocity - Do NOT use Travleocity for booking hotels, flights or anything!

Due to legitimate emergency had to cancel my trip about a week before planned departure so notified travelocity to cancel flight and hotel right away. Was told they would do what they could but neither was refundable. At my insistence I was told they'd speak directly to my hotel and get back to me since I could provide evidence of why canceling. Two days later, hearing nothing from them I called hotel directly and very nice, courteous woman named Nicole said there was NO RECORD of anyone trying to cancel the reservation AND it had to be canceled by Travelocity - not me - but there'd be NO problem with giving me a refund as long as they got it within 48 hours of check.. which was only hours away at that point. So I Called travelocity again, asked for an update and actually claimed they'd not been able to reach anyone at the hotel in time so the charges wouldn't be reimbursed! (My call to the hotel had been answered on the 2nd ring) So I told them about my call to the hotel a few minutes earlier... .. oops! Suddenly things changed, I was put on hold while they 'called the hotel' or conferenced with each other about what to do. When the woman came back on line she acted like she and Travelocity had pulled off a miracle by getting a refund when in fact no action had been taken on my behalf by them at all and wouldn't have without my direct intervention. I also called Amer Airlines directly and was told they could give me full credit for a future flight but I'd have to book it through travelocity again and travelocity would charge me a fee for rebooking... which travelocity has said only AA would do.. in short, I will NOT be booking anything through travelocity ever again if I have any other choice!
