Travelocity did not notify me about a flight time change. Had to stay an extra day at hotel. Did not reimburse. When I got a flight the next day I had to stay overnight in Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on my way back to Philadelphia. Contacted Travelocity many times. They continue to deny responsibility.p

So, check this out. I am planning a trip to Disneyland for my family. We need to fly from Seattle to LA. I found great round-trip, direct flight tickets on Travelocity.com. I paid for the Cancellation Protection, but when I clicked to book the flight, the next screen basically said, "Oops, your price has increased by $100." I was like, "Fine, whatever." Not a huge deal, right? So I clicked to book the flights with the new price. New screen, new message, "Hooray! You can have the original price." Awesome. So I click to book. "Oops." So I click to book. "Hooray!" Click. "Oops." Click. "Hooray!" I got frustrated, and then worried that I was being charged for each of these ATTEMPTED bookings, so I checked my bank statement right then. 6 charges for the $70 Protection fee, each followed by an immediate deposit for the exact same ammount. "So," I thought, "The balance remains the same, so no harm. They just have a funky way of doing this." That's when I noticed the other charges. Intermingled with the $70 out, $70 back cha-cha-cha, I found 3 charges for $352.50, for plane tickets to LAS VEGAS. There ain't any DISNEYLAND IN LAS VEGAS. At no point would I have ever authorized these charges, especially since I was, at the moment I was charged for these, I was actively ATTEMPTING to purchase tix to LA. Freaked out, called customer service. The nearly-unintelligable lady dismissively told me to read the email I should have received to find the itenerary, and the cancellation policy. I hadn't gotten an email. No flight numbers, no itenerary, nothing. She didn't seem to get it. Rest of the story: called bank, filed for fraudulant charges, had my account blocked, my card cancelled and reissued, and out $1051.50. Then I googled Travelocity and found the horror stories. Seriously. *** this company. There goes DisneyLand for my kids.

DO NOT USE TRAVELOCITY!

To sum up a long review: They told me they’d cancelled my flights and that there would be no fees. They lied. I was charged $1,200, and they won’t refund me a dime. They told me they’d give me flight credit, then said I had none when I called to use it later. I’ve fought with them for a full year, and I’ve spent well over 15 hours on the phone with these people. Never, ever use this company for anything! Full review: In March of last year I booked two roundtrip tickets from Boston to Charleston through Travelocity. A couple of hours later, I managed to find a flight that left a few hours later from Charleston, which would allow my vacation to last a little longer. I called Travelocity customer service to change that one flight, but they said it would be easier if they just cancelled the whole itinerary outright. That worked for me, as there’s no fee for cancellations within 24 hours of the booking. The customer service rep said that he’d cancelled the itinerary, so I went ahead and booked the new one directly through Delta.com. When I returned from my vacation, I saw that I’d been charged $1,200 by Travelocity. They hadn’t cancelled the flight. They said they couldn’t refund my money, as the money went to the airline. The airline wouldn’t refund my money because they aren’t liable for Travelocity’s mistakes. After several hours spent arguing with their terrible customer service, they finally agreed to give me Travelocity flight credit equal to that amount. I called again several months later to use this flight credit, but they told me I had no such credit. Again, I spent several hours on the phone with their customer service, and I came away with nothing. It wasn’t until I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau that my flight credit magically reappeared, but it now had $800 worth of “change fees” attached to it, and so it was only worth $400. I have fought these people for a year, and they refuse to give me my money back. I’ve spent well over 15 hours on the phone with them, and I’ve witnessed some of the shadiest business you could imagine: They admit over the phone that there are recordings of all of my phone calls with Travelocity, (which would prove that they’d lied about cancelling my flights), but they won’t admit their existence in writing unless it’s requested by a lawyer. I ask for their corporate address, and I’m told that they don’t know the company’s address. I’ve been lied to, yelled at, and dragged along for a full year without them giving my money back. I’m currently working on filing a lawsuit against them, as I’ve exhausted all other options. If you choose to use this company, I suggest going straight to a lawsuit and skipping the customer service nightmare. It will get you nowhere. DO NOT USE TRAVELOCITY! PS: They are owned by Expedia, who also owns Hotwire, Orbits, Hotels.com, HomeAway, etc. so I wouldn’t expect any better from them. I would suggest making any hotel, flight, etc. bookings directly through the companies themselves. It’s not worth the risk to use anything owned by Expedia.

Travelocity - They cancelled flights, say 2 months for refund.

I purchased round trip tickets from Salt Lake City to Lima, Peru over two months ago. The flight is now in two weeks from today. Prices are now much higher. Travelocity calls me and hangs up. I call back and am on hold for an hour before they tell me that due to a flight change on the return flight, they have no choice but to cancel my flights and refund my money. I ask them to check about making a change to a different connecting flight which is available online returning at the same time. They say they will check and return call but they don't call back. Next day I get an email from them (first email) and it says they have repeatedly tried to contact me and this email is the last attempt and no further communication will be attempted. I call back again and am on hold for over two hours. I get to speak to someone that told me they cannot help me, so I asked to speak to their supervisor. The supervisor said that they can issue a refund but it will take eight weeks for me to get the refund. I ask for an email to say this in writing, and they told me they cannot do that so I ask to speak to that person's supervisor. Finally get to speak to someone who speaks English in an understandable manner, but they still tell me that I am out of luck, and they can't help me. Now I am out the $1500 for 2 tickets and don't know whether I will ever actually get a refund or not and I still have to spend over $2000 for replacement tickets due to flights being much closer in time. NEVER USE TRAVELOCITY !!!

Travelocity - Nonexistant Customer Service

Made flight reservations. Realized an hour later that I needed to change a leg of the flight. The website seems to offer help with changes or cancellations but when you try to actually do one you quickly find that you will ultimately need to talk to them to get it done. When you try to contact them they make you go through a system whereby they call you back. They give you estimated callback times but they are bogus. I entered 13 different requests both by phone and by computer and got callback estimates ranging from 5 minutes to 6 hours. Needless to say I was never contacted and I can only guess they were trying to string things along until the 24 hour cancellation deadline passes. I flew weekly in my business for over 20 years and in the past I had used Travelocity but they are not what they used to be. I suspect they are nothing but and old computer in a closet somewhere. Beware with extreme prejudice.

Travelocity does not honor the tickets I booked.

I booked 2 tickets to Sydney from Travelocity. 2 days later I got an email saying airline did not acknowledge the flights and I need to call. I called and was assured no issue and I got confirmed itinerary again so I thought everything was ok. 2 days later I got another email. This time I called and I was told my tickets were cancelled. I need to re-book the tickets with the new price which was much higher. Apparently travelocity does not want to honor my booking. I spent hours on the phone with multiple customer service people. They kept blaming everybody else including airline and credit card company. I called both, airline said they never got the booking. Credit card had no trace of the charge request. Apparently travelocity screwed up and didn't want to take the responsibility.

Travelocity - Sunday Morning - been on hold for over an hour

I made a simple request, to see if we could move the departure time for our return flight. When talking to United, they had room on a flight but, because we booked through travelocity, we needed to rebook through them. I've now been on hold for over an hour...an hour of a relatively short stay in which we were making plans for this morning, now still on hold. The modest "savings" we got, are completely useless for lack of flexibility. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use these guys again. This was the third time i "called back"...at 5:00 am on a Sunday morning, got the same boiler plate that all their reps are "busy". Given it's obvious that they are 12 hours timezone away (5:00 pm their time), and non one else in the US is awake at this time...what bull.

I booked a flight to Barcelona on Travelocity. com great hours great price everything was great until I received a email that there is a problem with my booking. with no explanation they were trying to sell a new flight for triple the price. I said no and contacted costumer service department where I was told that there are no problems with the booking it was a mistake. they even email me new confirmation and assigned my seats. 2 weeks later got two emails that my booking is canceled. called them up and again no explanation and again they were trying to sell me a new flight this time for double price.

Travelocity are thieves they sold me a round trip ticket that I purchased for a friend they gave absolutely no services she never was even allowed to get on the Delta Airlines plane they left her standing at the starting Delta Airlines Terminal crying. They stolen over $ 350 plus dollars. They say it's legal to take the money she was suppose to fly yesterday on Delta Airlines and return on September 19th 2016 on American Airlines they told me they legally have the right to give absolutely no refunds. They absolutely gave us NO Airlines Service and Travelocity reps as rude as can be .

I gave them my daughter's flight itinerary and they pulled up the flight info. I wanted to fly back with her but it was not available, however, they told me that there was a flight one hour before her flight so I booked that. We discussed my husband being able to pick us up at airport at same time. Had a nice conversation. Due to death in family I did not realize that I had not received email confirmation within the 24 hours. I called Travelocity to ask about email and found out that they had booked me on a flight a month after my daughter's flight. They would not admit that they made an error. Plus, they charged my card for time spent on the phone while I tried to resolve problem. It was a nightmare and I paid dearly for that ticket.

My partner and I were traveling from Newark to Rome. My partner had a business trip to take and would meet me in Rome on his concluding trip. Upon checking in at Newark I explained when asked if Robert Stevens would be checking in also. I said he's already left but will be returning with the confirmed flight on 8/8/16 We get to the airport in Rome to depart back to Newark and guess what. Only my ticket was available at check in. Mister Stevens return ticket was canceled BY TRAVELOCITY per SAS airlines. We called travelocity while standing on line to check in. SAS informed us that they could print the boarding pass if TRAVELOCITY called and resubmit our reservation. They continued to call a US number for SAS, and airline that's based in Europe at 04:00 amEST returning to the phone to say they are closed "call back when they open and we will help you" NEVERMIND MY FLIGHT WAS BOARDING AND LEAVING IN LESS THAN 40 minutes now at this time. Getting here at the airport,where I'm typing this from,3 hours early didn't help or make a difference since TRAVELOCITY IS FULL OF "I CANT". When asked for a supervisor on several calls I was told they wouldn't " be around for the next hour or 2". The worst service in history. I write when companies do something good and right but when you sit there with your arms folded unable or willing to assist me getting home, I WILL LET THE WORLD KNOW ! We ended up spending €2,250 for new ONE WAY TICKETS Directly with Turkish Air.

Travelocity refuses to take responsibility for error on its website when booking air section of trip. They blame American, and American blames them, leaving the bill for a clear mandated overcharge to the traveler.

And they do not respond, even after they assign a case number, until the 4th request.

They then still deny responsibility and have a service person, who I tried very hard to understand, tell me they haven't button to fix the problem. They can take the money, but they can't release the money.

I am very unsatisfied with the service here. I travel often and have purchased numerous tickets through Travelocity with no problems ever. This time, I purchased 3 tickets for myself and my 2 children. My children had to leave early and drive with my brother to Washington DC due to their grandmother's sudden death. I couldn't leave early so I flew, informed the United Airlines agent at the desk in Person that there would be 2 minor children not on the outbound flight that day but that they would be returning with me as the tickets indicated. She said everything was fine and I didn't need to do anything else. When I went to check in for the return flight, my children did not show up as passengers so I called the airline. They informed me that since they didn't take the outbound flight that their round trip tickets were automatically canceled and I would have to purchase new tickets. I then called Travelocity, whose agents I could barely understand and treated me very unfairly. The representative just kept repeating that Travelocity's policy is to cancel tickets when the outbound flight is not completed, and that I should have called Travelocity directly to make them aware beforehand. It wasn't good enough to go through the airline directly. I asked her where this policy is stated because of I had been aware, of course I would have called, but they fail to make that information available. So I ended up having to rent a car and drive 10 hours back to my home since I Couldnt pay $1100 purchase 2 new tickets. Just too much money. I am disappointed in Travelocity's lack of making customers aware of their policies and also their unwillingness to help people like me who always follow the rules and never cause problems for anyone. I feel like they should have at least helped me get my kids back on the flight for even a small fee and I would have been grateful. Instead, I am out $700 for 2 tickets, which they sold back to someone else again, a $350 car rental charge, and 10 hours of exhaustive driving all while being pregnant. No thanks to you, Travelocity, for completely ruining my weekend family reunion trip.
