CAUGHT THEIR MISTAKE IN THE TRIP CONFIRMATION AND CALLED RIGHT BACK TO CORRECT.AND THEY WOULD NOT RESOLVE IT AT ALL. CHARGED ME FOR ONE ROOM FOR THE PRICE OF 2 ROOMS. CLEARLY, NOT EVEN DEBATABLE. 6 HOURS ON HOLD FOR 10 DAYS. PROMISED TO BE RESOLVED TO 10 DAYS. NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BACK. THEY CLEARLY ERRORED AND WOULD NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. REPORTING FRAUD TO THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY TODAY. HOW A COMPANY WHO OPERATES LIKE THIS STAYS IN BUSINESS IS BAFFLING. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Travelocity - A Sofa is NOT a bed

I hate too travelocity Sh.. too ! I booked a room in their web site for two(2) adults and one(1)child for a room in NYC and for my terrible surprise I received not two beds but ONE bed and ONE sofa. Yes, ONE sofa ! The travelocity's supervisor told me that the best he can do is to give me a discount in the next trip. When I booked the reservation this is NOT I expected at All ! The City Club Hotel in NYC is the place that offer sofa instead of beds. The say ti's a "sofa bed".. come on it's not right at all!

TRAVELOCITY SUCKS!!!

I paid for a room in Durango through Travelocity online. When I arrived the manager said that the reservation had been cancelled by Travelocity. There were still rooms available, so he charged me for a room. Travelocity customer service says that there is no record of cancelling the reservation, so they will not refund the money that I paid them on line. Travelocity customer service will not allow me to speak with a manager, they refused to call me back with any kind of resolution , and told me that there are no guarantees. They suggested that I call back in an hour and try again. Travelocity sucks! I will never book with Travelocity again!

Travelocity Ripped me off

Travelocity ripped me off for $336. Ninety days before attending a conference, my secretary made hotel reservations for me using my credit card. Three hours later, the conference coordinator called and indicated that a room was reserved and paid for me because I was a speaker at the conference. Travelocity was immediately notified and a refund was requested. Initially Travelocity wanted to claim over a $1,000. The credit card company was able to decrease the amount to $336. Never again will I ever use Travelocity nor will I ever allow any of my employees to use Travelocity. Travelocity management investigated and gave me the 'run-around.'

TRAVELOCITY - dirty room, no cont. breakfast - $99/nite rip off

My husband booked a trip through travelocity from 9-8 to 9-12-2011 for a hotel named Americas Best Value Inn and Suite in Glen Allen, VA. 1 king room with jacuzzi and a continental breakfast. The room was disgusting - dirty, dirty floor, smelly, burn marks on furniture. Was afraid to sleep on bed, covered it with a small tarp he went out and bought. In am got up early and called another hotel and booked it. Came back to check out and to have the continental breakfast. That's a joke because there wasn't anything **this is false advertising**. They had no problems taking his money. Please people - don't use travelocity. When I called there customer service person, she was useless so I asked to speak with her manager, she hung up on me. I think they should refund part of what my hubby spent on this room in Virginia.

Do not use travelocity

i booked a hotel reservation through Travelocity> I chose this site because they said I could make changes at a small fee. When I recvived my confirmation it said I have a smoking room. This may have been my mistske but I dont think so. I am not a smoker. Then I called Travelocity to ask if I could change the room to a non smoking. Yes, I would be happy to help. Great problem solved. Then Travocity told me that the fee to switch from a smoking room to a non smoking room would be the entire cost of the room reservation!!! - sure it the chrge will be the entire cost of the room! What a joke.

Travelocity screwed me over...

I was traveling through Cozumel & Cancun. I made a hotel reservation through Travelocity and they confirmed my reservation via email. After waiting at the hotel for 3 hours, they told me Travelocity cancelled the reservation. I tried to call Travelocity's outside US number from a pay phone w/ calling card, but no answer. I made another reservation with a different C Card thru Travelocity (because I was not sure they'd really cancelled my reservation and didn't want to be double billed). I also sent them an email msg to tell them of the problem (where I got no answer). We got a room briefly, but then they cancelled again and the hotel kicked us out. The biggest problem is I had prepaid confirmation numbers on my emails from them, but no cancellation email. (I didn't dare book elsewhere.) Anyway... because of their screw up while we were waiting, the hotel sold out, as did the others we'd checked and we wound up sleeping on the beach. Bummer. The next day I hit an ATM with the same card, and paid cash at a higher rate. Never Again. Never Again. Never Again. Never Again. Never Again. Never Again. Never Again. Never Again. Never Again. I booked a flight and then needed a refund. I emailed the company 4 times with no response.

I then called and was told I would be offered a refund minus 45 pounds travelocity fee and 200 dollars airlines fee, meaning $1000 refund. Confirmation of this was emailed to me. Then I got an email stating only "PLEASE IGORE FIRST EMAIL WHICH I SENT TO YOU AS I GAVE YOU INCORRECT INFORMATION THAT YOU WILLL GET REFUND AS YOU WILL NOT GET ANY REFUND."

In all caps! Are these people serious?

Please IGORE first email? What does that even mean? WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST.

I Had an excellant experience cancelling a flight with Ebookers.. immediate online response, discount on fee because I cancelled the same day and the refund was processed within 5 days!
