Travelocity - NEED TO CANCEL VACATION PACKAGE BECAUSE OF VIRUS

According to dept. of trans. I'm due a refund if I want it. I have to cancel before April 30th.my flight is not until May 31st. Travelocity will not talk to anyone until 10 days before flight. The automatated site will only offer vouchers, that is not what I want. I have no ideal when I might rescedual. I have used several phone #s.can not get passed recordings. This is not service. This is avoiding customers. Should be reported to Department of Transpartation.

Details
Booked flights and hotels for trip in August 2020. Cruise canceled due to covid 19 flights grounded no refund lost $1600.00. If you call and actually get to speak to someone this is how it goes. Can i put you on hold so i can check this out?? 54 minutes later call is dropped. Happened 3 times now almost like clockwork at the 50 minute mark call dropped. They will not refund any money..this is a horrible business practice. i willl NEVER use this company again and i will continue to share my experience with everyone i speak with. Deborah Palmer a

I had a same experience with them years ago. Trip cancelled due to no fault of mine and lost deposits.

I booked a flight in January that was to fly from Miami to Atlanta and then from Atlanta to London o and then from London to Paris August 15th ,2020. When check my flight details the flight from miami to Atlanta and then from Atlanta to London was cancelled , however my flight from London to Paris remained. I have been unable to contct anyone from Travelocity about this, The only thing I am getting is to conatct then 72hrs before flight time. I have been trying to reach customer support since March 12 to canceled a trip with them for March 15... I still have not been able to talk to a single sole. They have the robot chat but all it does is send you to customer support who doesn't answer the phone

Travelocity - Can't change reservation

due to virus trying to change my flight and hotel to a later date. Tried for 2 days to hear the same message about unable to address my call at this time. I tried numerous messages thru the chat board and same replies come up. I am traveling next week, so how do they expected me to get thru to change my reservation. I called both the airline and hotel directly in iceland and both stated all changes must be made thru Travelocity. Help

I am pissed at Travelocity. I paid for a vacation package on a Saturday. They took the money out of my account. I never received confirmation. I have been calling , and staying on hold for at least 2hrs, only to talk to nobody.Now there telling me that that was a pre-authorization amount that will be put back in my account. Now the keep asking me for a confirmation number. The Lady counted be back on Facebook Travelocity only to tell me she can't find anything and the money should be back in my account 5-7 days. If I don't have any reservations, why was my money taken out. This is unbelievable! I am pissed!

had to cancel trip to florida because hurricane matthew caused quite a bit of damage to the area we were to visit and damaged the relatives home we were to stay with. I had purchased the trip insurance and was told they do not cover it, only if my house had been destroyed.

could not even get a voucher for a later date.

Travelocity and their insurance company is a rip off, who has over four hundred dollars to just throw out the window. will let everyone know do not use Travelocity.

I booked my retirement vacation six months prior to my retirement, retired December 30,2015 was leaving January 10,2016 to Cancun staying at the Moon Palace flying out on Delta airlines ( another *** company we had three broken airplanes ) we got to the Moon palace and they had no room for us they over booked, we had 2500 hotel credits to spend so they sent us to another hotel the Le Blanc in a taxi on there dime we arrved and was met by high pressure sales person trying to sell us a membership and we hadn't even checked in yet. they told us that we had 1500 hotel credits not 2500 we had to choose but to stay. in our room I call Travelocity told them the problem and they said they would get back us in twenty-four hour the call never came. after a week of *** we made it home. I got back on the phone with Travelocity for an hour and a half and told them the story again they said the hotel kept hanging up on them and said they would call back in 24 hour that was three days ago. Travelocity - SCAMER!

DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELOCITY!! I have booked my travel with Travelocity, and they don’t even treat me like a customer at all. I booked a stay at The Westin Hotel Crystal City, Washington D.C. on 8/4/2015. When I arrived, the hotel did not check me in because I had lost my credit card (I already prepaid everything when I booked). I have tried everything I could by showing them my Debit card, ATM card, all kind of IDs I had (all in my name), offered to pay $1000 in cash for deposit; and they just refused to let me in. When I asked them for a refund since they had not let me in, They said my reservation was not refundable. Even though I felt terrible at that time, I just nicely walked out of the hotel, went to the one next by, paid $400 with my debit card without any trouble (which is a lot cheaper if I booked in advance). So I called Travelocity and explained how I could not get in the hotel and they said: too bad, but your reservation is NON-REFUNDABLE. I asked them: “So even though I booked a travel, and the hotel just kicked me out of the door; I still have to pay them?” they said “That is CORRECT” and CALL ENDED. I take vacation every month, and have never experienced anything like this in my life. This is such a scam and I will never give up to let everybody know how Travelocity treated their customer. DONT EVER BOOK YOUR TRAVEL WITH TRAVELOCITY IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE CHARGED AND KICKED OUT OF A HOTEL SAYING: YOUR TRIP IS NOT REFUNDABLE, YOU STILL PAY EVEN IF WE DONT LET YOU IN!!!
