We booked a vacation package to Italy a few weeks ago before the coronavirus outbreak in that country. We called and tried to reschedule our flight for mid May and they said they could not make that change and we would have to pay an exorbitant amount to re-book for a later date. We tried with the airline directly and they sent us back to Travelocity. I understand the rules and under normal circmstances we would not have asked for a reschedule, but in this time of crisis you think they would be more HUMAN and UNDERSTANDING. NEVER USE TRAVELOCITY FOR YOUR TRAVEL NEEDS! It is clear that they make money by ripping people off.

Tried to change a date even paying and they told me I could not change the date of one day earlier even paying that I had to buy a new ticket, which I could not afford, and had to cancel, I lost 1100 dollars thanks to them

Travelocity's prices change when you final book a vacation package by more than 10%? 3 days, at different times, I attempted to book a vacation package only to see that the price changed by $300-$400 at the end? Every time? Always changed after I clicked on "Book It"? It was like the site waited until all the info and credit card numbers were applied then the price always increased? WTF? Contacted Travelocity's customer service and they stated that the prices do change occasionally during a booking. 3 days, at different times, and always when the final info is typed in? *** folks. Scam artists. I won't use them again.

Travelocity 24 hour cancellation fraud

On Sep 21 I sit down in front of my computer to plan my next family vacation, Air Tickets, Hotel and Car rental…after I hit “Submit” I became aware of 2 mistakes on my vacation package, the first one was my own mistake (I misspell my wife name), the second one was a change on return flight that I did not select. Trying to solve issue #2 through Travelocity links on their website end up costing me ($140 X 3 Tickets) more due cancelation charges added by American Airlines…. Calling and waiting 45 min on the line (both American Airlines and Travelocity) did not help on reversing the transaction or fixing my wife name on the tickets. 3 hours after the booking transaction and waiting over 45 min for each customer support calls, I end up calling Travelocity and decided to cancel everything…. Even they have a 24 hour no fee cancellation policy (including American Air Lines) I was left with $1200.00 dollars to pay on my credit card. I am still fighting the charges… for a cancelled vacation package for NEXT YEARI

Same thing here. Canceling trip because of the hurricane and Travelocity won't help cancel without $350 in fees for 2 airline rebooking fees, and their insurance doesn't help.

Called a total protection plan but doesn't cover cancellation of a trip to a destinantion that was hit by a natural disaster.

Spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone on 3 calls yesterday and got nothing resolved. Called the airlines directly and got the flights cancelled, recieved credits, and they waived any rebooking fees.

On Travelocity Facebook page there are hundreds of complaints by people claiming to be ripped off by Travelocity. Their insurance program is a total scam.

Travelocity - Worst!

Anyone work for an airline or know someone who does?.....PLEASE HELP. WILL THEY ALLOW A PASSENGER TO FLY WITH THE LAST LETTER OF THEIR MIDDLE NAME MISSING FROM THE FLIGHT CONFIRMATION? First and last name are accurate and consistent with passport. Middle name is ALMOST correct just missing one letter at the end. HELP! I booked through Travelocity....boy, big mistake! 1- my flights were not successfully confirmed and I was prompted to call their customer support. 2-they said I didn't enter DOBs....but that's not true. Those entry fields must be entered if not it doesn't allow you to proceed to submission/payment. 3-after a LONG time on the phone with them they finally agreed to book the flights and they would absorb costs. 4- the incompetent supervisor who handled the subsequent booking misspelled ONE letter of my daughter's middle name. I realized it when I got the email confirmation. (When I had entered all names correctly in the 1st itinerary I booked online). 5- I called two airlines directly and they said it must be corrected before travel and travelocity must fix it as the booking agency. 6- on hold for a LONG time again and they are having issues correcting THEIR OWN mistake. Said they may have to cancel ALL flights because the method in which it was re booked was not the normal route that would allow a quick modification the one letter of the middle name....WTF. 7- still on freaking hold right now! (7/29/17 @ 2:10pm). I've been on today's call alone for over 3 hours. [If I would add up all the time ive been on hold with them, I'm sure it now exceeds 10 or 12 HOURS+]

I booked a trip through Travelocity and this included flight, car and hotel room. I turned the car in a day early and I don't get a refund from Travelocity!! I called Thrifty and this is not their policy it is Travelocity that is not issuing the refund. Thrifty care rentals will refund your money if a car is returned early. What a rip off Travelocity I will never do business with you ever again and I will let everyone I know not to do business with your website. Travelocity - Misleading Advertising

Although their site claims "update plans with no cancellation fees from Travelocity" what they don't tell you is that the cancellation policies are at the discretion of the hotel you book through as part of the package deal. Their website was also misleading in that it appeared I was booking a two bed hotel room at $52/night, in reality it was a single bed room. If I wanted to "upgrade" to a two bed room, it would cost an additional $150 for my 3 night stay at a less than stellar budget motel. My husband swears he read the hotel reviews in advance through travelocity's website, but independent of Travelocity's site the proposed hotel had horrible reviews (roaches, unclean rooms, blood/hair on sheets, broken towel bars, and on and on). Despite the fact that you supposedly can "cancel at any time up to 24 hours in advance" I was unable to change hotels without being charged the full fee for the original one. I'll never book anything through them again.

Travelocity - Nightmare

I booked a vacation package, the rep charged my card so many times that my card was frozen, for security purposes, i had to wait 3 dyas til it cleared. Called back, after 1 1/2 hours on the phone, the 1 st couple I booked for, everything was ok, then when i booked my package, the hotel price went up $400., i was pissed, I cancelled everything. I later booked on line. Much better, you can not deal with these over seas reps, they don't know what they are doing. Now, I have $780.42 in extra charges on my credit card, and no one can figure out where tehey came from. Nightmare, 2 months of faxes, emails and phone calls. I have spent more than 20 hours, yes ..20 hours trying to resolve this. Travelocity cann't find these charges on their computer. I will be taking this cimplain to the better business bureau and comsumer affairs. I will not be ripped off of $780.42

I made two different reservations one for a hotel all inclusive and one for the flights, 7202938490820 and 7202940929593 and called on 08/09/2016 to let them know that amount went down a hundred dollars a day. They wanted to put me through the ringer, sitting on the phone for hours at a time with nonsense people who did not speak English fluently. I asked them to slow down because I could not hear them. So I spoke to a Corporate office customer support in Nevada, Mike and he verified that I would be fully refunded for all fees, charges for the flights. I also asked him if there was going to be charges for the hotel, he said no because you were going to pay when you get there. Now I get an email they are charging me 498.80 for the room, that is why I verified with Mike before canceling. Mike asked if I wanted to cancel the hotel, I said no not until I know that the flights will be of no charge as well. You need to take this off my account and I am not paying anything, that is why I called and sat on the phone for over 2 hours to make sure. I will not be paying anything for services that were not rendered. The fact is that your employees do not know what they are saying and or talking about when speaking to customers. I told them since they will not give me the lower amount I would be canceling as long as there are no fees associated with this. Mike assured there will not be and if charged to my account this will be disputed and rectified. I will never use Travelocity or any affiliates of your company EVER. I would like a timely response so I am able to book my vacation through someone else, Mike was also notified of this, I am not going to spend my money paying fees for canceling when your corporate associate assured me there would be no fees for canceling both items. I booked my vacation with this company. both airfare and hotel. I showed up at the airport 1 and 1/2 prior to my flight and it had already left. This is because the flight had been changed, and I was never notified. I had to get new flights, spend a night in Dallas. I had to pay for three flight change fees, and a hotel room in Dallas in addition to the one I was paying for in Hawaii. They refused to refund my room fir the night I missed. I was handled by people in India and was on the phone for hours trying to resolve the matter. I am sure they bank on people just giving up. In the end, I wish I had because it didn't do any good anyway. Do not use these people.

I booked through Travelocity for a vacation tour. The tour company called Cajun encounters tours did not pick us up for the tour. They lied and said we were not there and we were a no show. This was a lie. We talked with Travelocity for 2 hours to get our money back. Two weeks latter still not refunded. The company will not refund the tour now which is bull ***. The call center is in the Philippines which is full dishonest people!!!!! Do not use this company.....either one!
