Travelocity - Flights changed and I was not informed. I missed my spring break!!

I booked my vacation with this company. both airfare and hotel. I showed up at the airport 1 and 1/2 prior to my flight and it had already left. This is because the flight had been changed, and I was never notified. I had to get new flights, spend a night in Dallas. I had to pay for three flight change fees, and a hotel room in Dallas in addition to the one I was paying for in Hawaii. They refused to refund my room fir the night I missed. I was handled by people in India and was on the phone for hours trying to resolve the matter. I am sure they bank on people just giving up. In the end, I wish I had because it didn't do any good anyway. Do not use these people.

I booked through Travelocity for a vacation tour. The tour company called Cajun encounters tours did not pick us up for the tour. They lied and said we were not there and we were a no show. This was a lie. We talked with Travelocity for 2 hours to get our money back. Two weeks latter still not refunded. The company will not refund the tour now which is bull ***. The call center is in the Philippines which is full dishonest people!!!!! Do not use this company.....either one!

Booked packaged vacation deal. Airline changed outbound flight. I spent (no joke) over 15 hours on the phone with Travelocity because they could not get their stuff together. I talked to at least 10 different people who told me different things. The solution to this was simple - place a call to the airline, but since Travelocity is so disorganized and disconnected, it took them over a week to figure this out. In the end, I was forced to cancel a day of my vacation, take an undesirable flight schedule, pay for an extra night of hotel at a rate twice my original booking. What did Travelocity do to compensate me for my trouble? $50 coupon which they linked to the wrong account.

Travelocity is a bunch of thieves

The circumstances are intertwined with Delta's incompetence. However when you use a booking agency such as Travelocity and have an issue you need to speak to someone from that organization. After a canceled flight which would cause us to miss a connection and not arrive on vacation for an additional 24 hours I needed to talk to Travelocity about the lost hotel night and rental car and the lack of a place to stay that evening. I was able to reach no one 2 hours and 3 minutes on hold ( I have the screen shot to prove it) then when re-boarded we were told to turn our phones off! Long story short is we arrived 24 hours late slept on the floor of a cold airport and have paid for an extra hotel night and rental car. The hotyel and rental car company would not discuss it with us because we had booked with Travelocity. I am writing this while I am back home in my office on HOLD WITH TRAVELOCITY for 39 minutes now trying to talk to a Human Being! *** even someone in India would be better than nothing right now!!!!! NEVER AGAIN! If you own a Gnome as a lawn ornament I apologize in advance for smashing it if I happen upon your front yard. Signed Do it yourself and pay the extra 100.00 at least you will have recourse and can talk to yourself.

Travelocity - Great when things are good, Horrible when they are not

I recently booked our honeymoon using travelocity and was fairly pleased, had no issues. But that is only because at no point did it require me to call customer service. I had problem on my recent trip to Washington DC and here is my story. We flew into DC, flight was delayed an hour had a wife, 2 year old and 11 month old with me. Get to hotel which was represented online to be a 2 room suite to find it was a single room, not only was it a single room it was dirty, had mold in the shower, stains on the carpet and even though I was promised a rollaway by the hotel staff earlier that day there was no extra bed available. I call customer support and after waiting on hold for 20 min, i explained my situation i am told that I need to talk to a vacation specialist because i booked a package. I get transferred, on hold for 10 min and then get transferred to a message that says they are unable to help me at this time and hangs up on me. All the while i have two small children up past their bedtime and a cranky wife who is mad about the *** room. I call back again and wait 30 min just to talk to someone, explain my situation again, and then get told that i need to be transferred to a vacation specialist again. Then another 20 minutes on hold and finally get someone. I explain to the person on the phone that the room is not as described, dirty, and while the reservation said a pull out sofa, there was not one available and no rollaway either in addition to the room being a dingy mess compared to what it was shown online. The rep on the phone is like, well let me call the hotel. The hotel counters with a transfer to a 2 queen room tomorrow and free breakfast. He is like , is that acceptable and when I say no (even after explaining everything) I have to re-explain that doesnt change the fact that I have nowhere for my daughter to sleep its 1 am, in a hotel room that is dirty. After him having to put me on hold and call the hotel again we finally agree that I will pay for the night and go somewhere else the next day. Then I'm told I have to call back after I checkout in order for the refund for the next two nights to be processed. That was another 30 minute phone call today with hold time. Customer lost for life.

I BOOKED A VACATION FOR MY BF AND I AND COULDNT USE 2 CREDIT CARDS ONLINE SO WE CALLED AN "AGENT" WHO BARELY SPOKE ENGLISH!! DIDNT KNOW THEY OUTSOURCED!SHE TOOK OUR INFO FOR FLIGHT SND HOTEL THEN CHARGED US A TWO PEOPLE RATE. WELL 3 DAYS LATER WHEN I STILL HADNT RECIEVED AN EMAIL I CALLED AND THEY TOLD ME SHE WROTE IT DOWN COMPLETLY WRONG! IM SORRY YAHOO AND GMAIL DO NOT SOUND THE SAME. WHEN I REVIEWED THE EMAIL I REALIZED I WASNT ON THE HOTEL OR FLIGHT! I CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES ONLY TO TALK TO MORE PEOPLE WHO ASSURED ME THIS WILL BE FIXED. FINALLY SPOKE WITH A SUPERVISOR "MANDY" WHO SAID DONT WORRY IN 72 HOURS ILL EMAIL YOU CONFIRMATION THAT EVERYTHINGS RESOLVED. A WEEK LATER I FORCED TO CALL AGAIN ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THIS WAS MY FAULT!!!! I BOOK 2 PEOPLE ON THE FLIGHT AND 2 PEOPLE ON GROUND TRANSPORTAION BUT ONLY ONE IN THE HOTEL,THEN THEY SAID I WASNT EVEN ON THE FLIGHT! THEN THEY TOLD ME WE COULD ADD YOU FOR $180 MORE BUT A DIFFERNET FLIGHT ETC. I PAID FOR 2 PEOPLE!!! ONLINE THAT WAS THE PRICE FOR 2 PEOPLE AND THEY CHARGED IT AND NOW IT WAS MY FAULT!! THEY SAID THEY REVIEWED THE TAPES WELL THEY MUST OF "MISSED" THE FIRST ONE WHERE I GAVE MY INFORMATION FOR THE FLIGHT. HOW CONVENIENT. IM CURRENTLY DISPUTING IT WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY BUT THE MANAGE TO RUIN WHAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A BEAUTIFUL BABY MOON. MY ADVICE RUN FAR FROM THEM AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORST I SAW A CHEAPER PACKAGE ON ANOTHER WEBSITE!!!

Travelocity - Bad customer service.. Unacceptable wait times: longer than 45 minutes

I booked a vacation package 2.5 months ago and i had a worm emergency come up where I had to change my dates on my trip so I called 3 different numbers and was told that the hotel could only be reachd via email and it would be 48-72 hours before they got a response from the hotel on whether or not they had availability Two weeks later. I've called 4 times since that call and keep being told that the hotel hasn't responded. At this point I am on hold again because I'm calling back to see if the hotel has responded. I don't know what is going on and if Travelocity has even contacted the hotel. Very frustrating and i will make sure to tell everyone I know not to ever use Travelocity again . I will post this on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Yelp and any other site that has a large Audience. This Is unacceptable

Travelocity - Change in reservation

I made a mistake when I booked and only booked one room instead of two for a Mexico vacation package. I called travelocity two days later and wanted to add a room it was an extra 1000.00 versus online if I would of done it correctly it would of only been 300.00. I spent 4 hours on the phone with them and it was the worst customer service I have ever had. They didn't speak english, I was transferred 8 times and got hung up on two times. I will never again work with Travelocity and would high recommend you think twice before booking with them.

you should not have waited two days to add the other room. rates can jump exponentially in a matter of hours. and also, package rates differ very greatly than if you had booked each part separately.

Travelocity price guarentee a joke

3 weeks after booking a trip for $2300 for Mexico on Travelocity the price dropped $125. No worries they have a price guarenty. ITS BOGUS. You have to find the lower price within 24 hours. This was booked on their own website. Some India customer service rep pointed out the small print to me. What good is a guarentee if they won't honor it. I asked if I could use the amount of the drop to upgrade thereby leaving my cost the same. The India guy named JAMES said I am sorry we cannot honor your request. You should have read the policy. WHAT A JOKE

I've worked for this company before... and most of their customer service comes from India.

I'm from the U.S though.

I know all the terms the full policy. And My opinion is... I wouldn't waste money for this insurance.
