Airlines cancelled but travelocity will not refund money. Issued very specific voucher for the same passengers and destination. Well, I don't want to go to this destination next year. Just awful!!

Affirm - Travel not booked

My wife purchased tickets utilizing Affirm for travelocity. For some reason when she attempted to pay the first time the page did not refresh and she did not receive a confirmation. She attempted again and was faced with the same issue. Now we have been charged twice and still do not have any flight and hotel information. The loan ID that needs to be cancelled is OMMB-VVR5.

Have always dealt with Travelocity but will never again!! Flight was made over 6 mos ago.

Flight was changed at last minute making what should have been a wonderful few days turn into a nightmare.

Will not use Travelocity again. From now on if making reservations in advance, will go directly through airlines.

Travelocity - Price adjustment

I booked a hotel reservation at 10 AM CST, went back to travelocity's website not even an hour later, and price dropped on the hotel. Try to take advantage of the drop, and was denied. I tried 3 different departments, to no avail. That's a load of BS. There's no reason why I cannot be credited the money I just spent to take advantage of that drop. Seems as if Travelocity is done with you once you commit, which is bad customer service to follow/practice. I will NOT be doing business with them in the future, that's for sure. Unacceptable.

i booked travel for 8 to Vegas. Website deal with Travelocity was a few hundred dollars cheaper, so my daughter and i called on the speaker phone to make notes and get it right. After booking some of us, operator says "oops the price went up $200 on your second leg of the trip while we were talking." The first was non refundable of course, so we continued. She promised us transportation from the airport to hotel and back in our package. Big lie!! Called them twice, on hold for one hour had to hang up. Next day, arranged for auto-call back 52 minutes later. an hour later they called, I explained that we annot find the tranportation info, called the hotel, they say not included. Travelocity--on hold forever-then they connect me to the hotel without telling me. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS RIPOFF!!

Published review 4/10/15 Made hotel reservation in February 2015 for dates in April 2015. Selected an upgraded room on the Travelocity website for a higher price. Received confirmation and I only noticed the price charged was correct. When I got to the hotel Travelocity had booked me the cheapest room for the price of the upgraded suite I requested on their website. I didn't notice at the bottom of the confirmation they listed the cheap room, but charge the suite price. They refused to refund or compensate for the error. In February, the room I got was going for half the price I paid at the hotel itself, so why would I have paid Travelocity twice as much for the cheap room if the hotel had it for half the price. Customers should aware that Travelocity changes what you order online and charges you the higher price. Thoroughly read your whole confirmation, even fine print all the way to the bottom.

Travelocity does not have humans working there! I purchased my trip there and they have a price guarantee. The very next day (24 hours did not pass), the prices on THEIR website went down, so I called them. Over the phone they said they couldn't help and I needed to fill out a form online. I was like, ok. But when I tried to do it, the form wouldn't not get submitted. It would show that there is a problem with the new $ amount. However, everything was right... I even tried different browsers and restarting my computer. It would not work. As people over the phone couldn't help me, I thought I'll send them an email and ask them to forward it to the correct department. And I told them that the FORM DID NOT WORK. The first automatic email response I got said that I had to fill out the form online. I responded back saying that I already wrote it in my email and that it didn't work! The second email I got said that they are experiencing a higher than normal volume of emails and that I wasn't using my email on file - but I was! I even logged in into my Travelocity account and checked! I sent them another email, asking them if they could read English or maybe there were blind? And that I was using the same email with which I purchased the trip! The third response was exactly the same - that I wasn't using my email. I just sent them another response, which most likely will come back with an auto-email reply. But I did ask for a human to reply and not for a machine. I am very disappointed in Travelocity. Their PRICE GUARANTEE DOES NOT WORK in any way or form. DO NOT EVER DEPEND ON THAT FEATURE! Oh, and DO NOT DEPEND ON A HUMAN BEING REPLYING TO YOUR EMAILS, as THEY DON'T HAVE ANY. I wish I could give no stars...

Travelocity - Worst website ever... Makes AOL look like champs

Website continues to crash Safari and safari Mobi. Guess that happens she you spend more $$ on advertising than Systems support. Becoming more of a link through business now anyway, irrelevant as other aggregators are competiting. Leave travel at no velocity to grandparents and dial up users. Recommend putting them on the spam list in your email systems to save yourself time. Essentially a web storefront with little or no backend customer support - take time to,read the litany of horrors as customers have attempted to resolve real life travel issues only to have excessive wait time (hold on, wait for travel at no velocity PR flak to respond there was "excessive call volume" I guess to overwhelm the three pitiful customer support representatives on duty when a storm hits the NE US) or promises which aren't kept... B/c the call center metric is how many calls did we answer...

Paid for ocean view and King bed and received neither. The conditions were disgusting to say the least. travelocity was rude and kept hanging up on me every time I called. Travelocity refused to issue a refund after we checked out day 2 of 6. Iberostar punta Cana was rated 3.5 on Travelocity website and I would hesitate to give it a 1. The staff was rude and Travelocity was even worse when calling to get a refund. I will never use Travelocity again and make sure everyone I come in contact with knows that Travelocity ripped me off.

Hotels Travelocity "features" are *** and not worth the money.

I used Travelocity to book a reservation with one of their "recommended" hotels, the Capital Inn & Suites located in Rensselaer New York. The listing showed 3 stars and a discounted price. I wanted to call the hotel to advise them that I would be checking in late and could not find the number in the yellow pages or find a website other than using the Travelocity contact info. The person I got ahold of could not speak English and said to "not worry" but the hotel room would be there when I got there. When I got to the hotel the guy at the desk was put out as he said my reserved room was not available and that no one from Travelocity had called. He found a "smoking" room and I checked in at 1 am. The room was filthy, the bathtub looked like it was stained by black tar, and the best part of it all is when I ran water into the sink it poured out under the console onto the floor. I opened the door and the pipe drain was missing. I tried to call the office and no one answered. Buy this time I was exhausted and after cleaning up the water all over the floor I washed and brushed my teeth using the tub faucet. The air conditioner rattled so bad I decided to "sweat" it out rather than listening to the noise. I woke up at 9 am after a horrible night and went to the desk and spoke to the same man that checked me in. I told him about the sink missing a pipe and how I felt I should be reimbursed for the inconvenience. He told me I should have called, which I informed him I did. He then said "well someone must have stolen the pipe" and proceeded to pretend he was calling maintenance. The man was from India and spoke perfect English, but when I started telling him I wanted a discount he started to act like he couldn't understand me. I finally said "are you going to make this right or are we done?" He said "we're done...goodbye" and went into the back office dismissing me. I was furious but had to be on the road. Then I tried to find a complaint department for Travelocity and could find nothing...not even under their feedback page. I am so done using these bogus travel websites as they don't represent hotels correctly by the stars they rate them with, and they don't give a *** if your satisfied or not. Plus the rates listed on the desk for my horrible room were the same price that my supposedly discounted room was. Never again will I use Travelocity and fair warning their hotels are inflated and pieces of junk for the money.

Travelocity is the worst ever...I booked a room at 2 am to stay then drove 30 min to the hotel and we I got there they were sold out. I called Travelocity and they said they could give me a refund because the check in was at 3 pm.. I explained the lady that the website wouldn't let me go to the day before because it was already passed 12 am and that I wanted the room right then and she didn't care. She said I either stay there the next day or they would cancel it and keep my money... This is a rip off. PEOPLE PLEASE DON'T USE THIS FRAUDULENT SITE... ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE.

Travelocity - Deceiving & Rude Company

Website States Best Price Guarantee. - Booked Trip, less than 48 hours later, I receive an email stating that the price has dropped for my trip. I go to the website and the price dropped $341. I call in, after 4 representatives and an hour of waiting, I'm advised that it is only if I dispute within 24 hours. Not only did I not get the Best Price, as I was guaranteed, but they also are not honoring their best price. The staff is completely rude and demeaning - also unhelpful. (Also, why would they send me an email to let me know that the price has dropped, if they were not going to honor it?)

Travelocity - Dishonest, unethical and beyond rude

I was booking a hotel for my husband and I on the Travelocity website. I selected the date 5/24/14 and found a hotel within our budget. I continued to the check out menu and entered our credit card information. once I selected 'ok' the verification screen changed our booking date to 5/20/14 which was the same day that I was doing the booking on. I called the customer service number within minutes of the process to change it. it took us three separate times to get connected for the call continued to be disconnected on their end. once I got a representative I explained to her how the website changed our date. She told me that it's not there problem and it's the websites issue and that they are not responsible and cannot do anything about it. I asked to speak to a supervisor. once connected to the supervisor she was very rude. I again explained to her our issue and further explained that the $70.00 for the hotel was a lot of money for my husband and I. we don't have the money to just throw away and for us it's a very big deal. she said "I don't know what the big deal is, it's only $70.00" I cannot believe she said this to me. how dare her tell me that my husband's hard earned money is no big deal and ok to just throw away. I told her that this was stealing and she said "it's not like they are taking hundreds of dollars from you." I told her to us it feels like a hundred dollars. I asked for the corporate phone number and she would not give it to me and said I would have to just keep calling back and hope someone connects me. I cannot afford to lose this money and I cannot believe a company like this would have such poor customer service. I feel disgusted by what happened to us. they also said that since we did not give 24 hour notice they cannot do any refunds anyhow. I was doing the booking on 5/20/14 for the booking date of 5/24/14 and the website changed the booking date to 5/20/14 so how can we give a 24 hour notice when it's the same day we put the booking in. it's impossible to do.

I bought a round-trip ticket from NYC.My return ticket was cancelled - without me being so much as informed. I called by chance to check on something else -- only to discover that I have no ticket backWow!My Travelocity Trip ID is: 3321 1222 xxx2 and I will never buy anything from Travelocity!!! MC The 2014 EWFC will be held in St Anton, Austria from 12-15 January, 2014. The EWFC is an annual conference that was started in 2006. It is a small, informal conference that brings together researchers from Europe, the USA and elsewhere and offers excellent opportunities for in-depth discussion of a small number of papers. Since its debut in 2006 many outstanding papers in finance have been presented at the EWFC. Past programmes are available the conference website at the address below. The conference will be held at Chalet Montfort which has excellent facilities and will be reserved for the exclusive use of the conference. St Anton is easily accessible internationally, with a fast train from Zurich airport.

Travelocity - Reservation made without my Knowledge

I was considering staying at a hotel using this website, I had never had problems before. I had all my information filled out but had not completed my order because I was waiting to see if I would have to stay at a hotel or could stay with a friend. I ended up being able to stay with a friend and exited out of the page, 4 days later I see they have taken the money out of my account and make the reservation I had NEVER completed. I called to complain, I had never stayed at that hotel and was angry this order had been made without me knowing. They refused my refund because they confirmed it on their end. If you want them to rip you off, book with them!
